This article gets right to the point when it comes to all the sugar that manufacturers include in their products. However, it’s gotten worse. And by worse I mean many of the products that are clearly written as being natural on the product’s packaging, isn’t.

Every time a pickup a product that says all natural I end up discovering that there’s some form of sugar or other manmade chemical in it. It has now gotten to the point that any time I go grocery shopping I avoid most packaged products because they contain some form of sugar. And by the way, did you know that sugar is more addictive than cocaine? Isn’t that crazy!

For my family, I try to shop our local farmers market were I know the products contain nutrients, not manmade chemicals. And while many might say that some farmers use chemicals like pesticides to spray their crops with, I know of a family that doesn’t.

I also cook from scratch when possible. And lately, we have avoided eating out because we have no idea what really goes in to the food we are served even in the finest restaurants. All of these steps might seem like a lot, but for my health and my family’s health it’s well worth it.
